PROMOTION OF THE
BASQUE COUNTRY THROUGH THE BASQUE GASTRONOMY REPRESENTATION
Basque CCIs, in their experience accompanying
industrial companies in their internationalization, are aware of the importance
and the role that abroad established companies play to promote our culture.
From the point of view of tourism, this fact is
emphasized when talking about an industry as linked to the tourism as the Basque
Gastronomy, which is part of one of the main products within the Basque Tourism Marketing Plan of the
Basque Government. In addition, this sector can be used as the perfect tool to
promote the Basque Country as a gastronomic destination.
Therefore, the Basque Government and the Basque
CCIs consider essential the knowledge of the Basque Gastronomic sector’s
presence in the world, in order to create synergies with these companies and so
that they can take part in the promotion policies that are being developed.
Objectives
This project pretends to identify those
companies of the gastronomic field that are spread throughout the world, as
well as the main private Basque investors that are considering developing
projects abroad, so that the Basque Government and the CCIs can contact them
and develop collaboration agreements with them.
Beneficiaries
Those Basque Gastronomic companies established
out of the Basque Country.
